About The Instructor

Training

Suzanne Hawkins has been on staff at Oakland University, Eisenhower Dance Ensemble Center for Dance, Institute of Music and Dance (College for Creative Studies), Gotta Dance Studio, Rochester School of Dance, as well as other area schools and studios. She studied both the Cecchetti and Vaganova methods of ballet and has completed teachers' training with Dmitri Roudnev (Ballet Intensive from Moscow), Dinna Bjorn (Norwegian National Ballet), Jurgen Schneider (American Ballet Theater), and Finis Jhung.

Suzanne Hawkins is an ABT (American Ballet Theater) Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT National Training Curriculum.
